CFPCERT TM, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® and are certification marks owned outside the U.S. by Financial Planning Standards Board Ltd. Financial Planning Association of Malaysia is the marks licensing authority for the CFP marks in Malaysia, through agreement with FPSB.
The above marks supersede the marks for Malaysia on Page 14 of the “Guide to Use of the CFP Marks” (link below). All other notes in the Guide remain unchanged and are to be adhered to.
Persons who satisfy the 4Es requirements are granted the right to use these marks in accordance with the guidelines established by FPAM.
FPAM carefully monitors all usage of the marks in order to ensure their integrity. FPAM views unauthorized use of the marks as an extremely serious matter and is prepared to take whatever steps necessary to protect them.
Use of CFPCERT TM marks in Malaysia is restricted to certificants who are authorized to have such rights by FPAM.
