The creation of a trust is always associated with the ultra rich. One of the aims of this course is to dispel such a notion. This course is designed to provide an understanding on the impact and the techniques of wealth distribution and preservation using insurance and trust. An analysis of the usage of will and trusts for wealth distribution and preservation will be made in order to understand the differences between the two most common estate planning tools. At the same time the impact of bankruptcy of the client and beneficiaries will be discussed when drawing up the will and trust documents.
Various important examples of estate planning using insurance and trust to serve the common man on the street, business owners and for high net worth individuals will be discussed.
